  • Some IR experience is a plus yet no prior experience in thermography is necessary for Level 1.
  • Learn to collect quality data, and accurate temperature readings, and account for measurement effects such as distance, reflectivity, transmissivity, and emissivity using infrared cameras.
  • Interpret IR images (called thermograms) make informed decisions using heat transfer concepts to analyze thermal images and see the latest in IR inspection report generation software.
  • Avoid costly mistakes!  Learn how to distinguish between hot spots and reflections, indirect vs. direct readings and qualitative vs. quantitative thermography practices in the real world.
