Description
FLIR DM285 Industrial Grade Thermal Imager and Multi-Meter for Electrical Inspection and Diagnostics
Teledyne FLIR DM285 Industrial Imaging Multimeter includes a True Root Mean Square (TRMS) digital multimeter and a built-in 160×120 pixel thermal imager powered by Infrared Guided Measurement (IGM™). This thermal imager allows for a quick scan of overheating components, and the multimeter tests functions and diagnoses the fault. The DM285 uniquely features BLUETOOTH® for wireless data transfer by connecting to the Teledyne FLIR tools mobile application. This multimeter is compatible with the FLIR InSite™ workflow management tool that helps to prepare efficient survey routes, maintain accurate documentation, and create instant file reports. Typical applications include industrial electrical, mechanical, HVAC/R, and electronic systems
UNRIVALED IMAGE QUALITY
MSX® Image Enhancement
The FLIR DM286 features FLIR’s unique Multi Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX), which adds key details from the onboard visible light camera to the entire infrared image in real time. The result: an all-in-one, undiluted thermal picture with visible light features that lets you instantly recognize where the problematic heat pattern is. MSX is real time so you can see its results immediately on the camera’s display.
The FLIR DM285 is a professional, all-in-one True RMS digital multimeter and thermal imager. Featuring Infrared Guided Measurement (IGM) technology powered by a built-in 160 x 120 FLIR thermal imager, the DM285 visually guides you to the precise location of an electrical problem without direct contact. You’ll pinpoint hot spots faster, safer, and more efficiently. The DM285 also helps streamline inspections by connecting wirelessly to FLIR Tools® app for uploading thermal images and measurement data.
Key Features:
- IGMTM (Infrared Guided Measurement) for safer non-contact thermal inspections
- Unrivaled thermal image clarity with MSX® (Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging)
- Seamless integration with METERLiNK® App
Main Applications:
- Identifying hot spots in electrical components
- Diagnosing intermittent electrical problems
- Data logging and tracking changes in electrical system
