Christopher Casey

President and CEO

Christopher Casey is the son of a 30-year Marine, West Point graduate with a bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and is now a proud Dad of Annapolis midshipmen. He completed an MBA from St. Martins University while on active duty stationed at Fort Lewis, WA. Since 1990 Christopher has held executive leadership positions with regional & national companies. He’s a positive leader and team-builder recognized for engineering change, developing employees, and achieving results. His expertise in organizational management, creative problem-solving, and an ever-positive focus have led to substantial growth. Christopher took the reins at Monroe Infrared in 2011. He’s highly motivated, goal-driven, and clearly focused on exceeding both customer and vendor partner expectations as the best path to overall business success. His belief: success thrives from true partnerships, developed through doing what you say you’re going to do, over-communicating, never assuming, and sweating the details no matter the customer’s size, the task, the purchase, or the commitment.

Bill Fabian

VP of Training

Bill Fabian is Vice President of Training for Monroe Infrared Technology. He has been involved in Infrared for over 30 years and is a Level III Thermographer. Bill has trained thousands of individuals in both the theory behind and the use of IR cameras for Predictive Maintenance and Building Diagnostics applications. He has extensive in-field experience working closely on Energy Performance with customers ranging from major high-rise buildings to commercial businesses to single-family homeowners. Significant Accomplishments: Bill has completed IR Inspections on more than 20 million square feet of flat roof systems making him one of the foremost experts in the country today. Bill was instrumental in developing a practical water intrusion inspection methodology for today’s moisture remediation industry.

Greg Thompson

VP of Inspections

Greg joined Monroe Infrared in 2019 after running his own successful infrared inspection and consulting business for 25 years. Greg started as an engineering technician for a camera manufacturer in 1984. Additionally, he has worked in infrared software development and calibration, infrared training, consulting, as well as infrared equipment sales. Greg has an associate’s in electronics engineering and is a certified architectural draftsman. Having General and Mechanical contracting licenses and vast experience inspecting low, medium, and high-voltage electrical systems, Greg is well-versed in leading Monroe’s top-notch team of inspectors.  Greg currently holds Level III Master Thermographer Credentials and is an FAA licensed Part 107 drone pilot.

Ted Woodward

Director of Sales

Ted Woodward joined Monroe Infrared as our Sales Manager in 2019. Trained as both a Certified Level 1 and Certified Residential Thermographer, Ted is responsible for all our national sales and marketing communications efforts. He also manages key client relationships at Monroe Infrared, with a particular focus on finding the best solutions for our clients’ camera, inspection, and training needs. Prior to joining Monroe Infrared Ted owned a direct marketing communications agency and before that he was a senior product manager and internet marketing manager for L.L. Bean. Ted is a graduate of The University of Maine with a BA in History and Political Science.

Peter Sylvia

National Service Manager

Peter has over 17 years of experience in Infrared Inspections and management and is Monroe Infrared’s National Service  Manager. He is responsible for all business operations for Monroe Infrared’s inspections including client coordination, customer development, and staff management. Peter is famous for the strength of his client relationships in working with and helping them achieve the results they desire through the inclusion of Infrared Thermal Inspections as part of a comprehensive overall Preventive/Predictive Maintenance and Building Energy Control Programs. Significant Achievements: Peter has been requested on many occasions to help clients detect & pinpoint major problems which resulted in substantial savings to the client.  Most notable of these was an issue Peter identified for a client preventing the uncontrolled loss of electrical power resulting in a catastrophic facility shutdown and expected loss of more than $1 million.
