We are excited to announce the latest acoustic innovation the FLIR Si1-LD Industrial Acoustic Imaging Camera for Compressed Air Leak Detection.

Developed from the successful FLIR Si2 platform, the Si1-LD provides and improved form-factor and build quality, and it will replace, with additional functionality called bandpass filtering which has been added allowing users to tune-out any unwanted disturbance from conflicting ultrasound.

Leaks from compressed air systems usually result in 25-30% of lost air. This can raise energy costs considerably, also could cost unwanted production stoppages and can shorten the life of the compressor. Through a regular maintenance routine, the FLIR Si1-LD can help facilities save money on utility bills and reduce their environmental impact.

Touch-screen (5-inch) interface captures high-resolution images with real-time quantifiable leak-rate and cost prediction for prioritizing repairs.

• Bandpass filtering manual adjustment: Bandpass filtering allows manual adjustment of the frequencies being analyzed if acoustic interference is experienced.
• Utilizes array of 96  microphones to map sound sources as hot spots on visual camera image
• Automatically detects compressed air and vacuum leaks from up to 130 meters (427 feet) away.
• Seamless reporting options, including online analysis via FLIR Acoustic Viewer and offline reporting with FLIR Thermal Studio software
• Touch-screen interface displays high-resolution images for easy issue identification with real-time on-device quantification in terms of leak volume flow rate and leak cost per year
• Optimized design provides advanced performance: Light weight, high performing hardware and advanced algorithms provide increased sensitivity compared to many cameras with more microphones.
